What, you may be asking, is a Syncro?
Well, friends, it is a 4-wheel drive Vanagon. And of course, in keeping with the cult status of these VW camper vehicles, there is an event to celebrate their off-road abilities. 2-wheel drive Vanagons are invited to tag along too. This year's event is in California, which would require us driving our 2WD Westy back across the country.
